How can this emptiness be filled? Though you left a gaping hole, the living must go on. I know you would. I celebrate you today, and every day, for three years later you would have been 25. We're all a little older, wrinkled, decayed; but your youth will prevail. Your absence, no doubt, has shown me how to dig deep inside and find the love we must give ourselves. As Lionel Richie says, "The truth will always be in your soul." There are moments where I have no doubts. You are with me and we're still carrying each other today.
